METAL MIKE has collaborated with a California based miniature guitar manufacturer Axe Heaven to bring a signature Metal Mike flying V miniature model – “The Metalworker”.
Each mini stands approximately 11” high and comes complete with its own stand and presentation box. It comes display ready. Completely handcrafted from solid mahogany wood, each axe is hand made at the Axe Heaven Facility in Indonesia.
“I’m excited to finally say – let’s unleash the black beasts! This has been a wonderful project for all of us involved, especially me. It’s a bizarre, but non the less great feeling to take a pencil to paper and draw up a metal axe and have the thing show up at your office door step a couple months later. This mini has stayed very true to my original sketches and ideas, and although only about 11” high, it certainly has enough Metal snarl to make even the most discerning Metalhead proud. Here it is – The Metalworker Mini V”, commented Mike.

METAL MIKE – US SOLO DATES ANNOUNCED / BAND LINE UP REVEALED
HALFORD guitarist “Metal” Mike Chlasciak has scheduled new solo dates in support of his forthcoming album “The Metalworker”.
Mike announced that he will support German power metallers Primal Fear on May 21 at Jaxx in Springfield, Virginia. This will mark Mike's first solo show of 2010 and the debut live appearance by Chlasciak's new touring band. Chlasciak will also join Primal Fear for a "jam" on May 20 at the Blender Theatre in New York City. Topping of the quick metal assault will be a May 22 headlining show at Dingbatz Club in Clifton, NJ.

Metal Mike Launches METAL HEROES MUSIC ACADEMY
C.M.M. Entertainment, LLC and “Metal” Mike Chlasciak are pleased to announce the launch of Metal Heroes Music Academy – world’s first heavy metal institution providing workshops, extended sessions and summer camps for metal players at all levels.
“Its always been on my mind – a heavy metal establishment where players can meet, discuss, take classes and learn metal riffs from each other. A real brick and mortar place where you can get better and jam with other people that have the same interests as you. I kept thinking how cool would it be to have something like that, something you can call your own and have all this stuff happening. It’s all about the timing and scheduling, commitment and so forth. It just feels right to make this happen today. The truth is that you can have great time while you get the info that you want if you surround yourself in an environment that supports your interests. I think we are in for some good times and well, a whole lot of metal”, explains Metal Mike.

Metal Mike - The MetalWorker: First Video Diary Entry Available On-Line
Metal Mike To Special Guest At The School Of Rock Location in Cherry Hill, NJ
As many of you know Metal Mike has entered the studio to begin recording his new solo album, titled "The Metalworker". Nine tracks are being completed for the effort, which is being described by Mike as "a record that I simply needed to make." Songtitles set to appear on "The Metalworker" include "On Leather Wings", "Tonight We Ride" and "Don't Shoot The Crown".

Metal Mike's last solo release under the PAINMUSEUM moniker, "You Have The Right To Remain Violent", was released in 2006 via C.M.M. Entertainment. The follow-up to 2005's "Metal For Life" (C.M.M./ Demolition) was a special-edition enhanced CD release that included bonus material as well as music video, gallery and a special message from Mike.
Metal Mike will also be a special guest instructor during the Summer Boot Camp program currently offered at Paul Green's School Of Rock. This will be a one day only event taking place on August 3rd, 2009 at the Charry Hill, NJ location. Please note that this event is open only to the School Of Rock students.
“I am happy to come down, bring my flying Vs and talk music with all the young rockers and metallers at the school. Sound like a good time. We'll crank up some amps, share stories and tear up a few riffs. I'll be also playing some tracks from my up-coming 'The Metalworker' album - so one thing is for sure - we'll have a fill of loud music that day. Several song titles to be included are “Don’t Shoot The Crown”, “Tonight We Ride” and “Sever The Gods”. I'm excited about this. Well, I guess I do not need to state that the DVD will be about heavy metal — do I? Honestly, what else could it be? One piece of information that I can share with you all is that I have partnered with a well-known distributor to release a no-holds-barred DVD teaching all the metalheads specific things on the guitar — Metal Mike-style! Metal Mike, considered by many to be one of metal's premiere guitar shredders announced today that he has signed a personal representation deal through his C.M.M. Entertainment, LLC, with Chicago's Sports and Entertainment company MMW Marketing, LLC.
Metal Mike is currently in the studio finalizing pre-production for new solo material, after concluding a recent US trek as a sideman axe slinger for Sebastian Bach. Bach toured the United States' sheds and arenas last Summer with Dokken and Poison on the Live, Raw and Un-Cut 2008 Summer Tour. New official announcement regarding the yet un-disclosed Metal Mike project is expected sometime early spring.

Metal Mike has been added to the list of artists who are scheduled to make guest appearances at the Chiller Theatre toy, model and film expo on October 24-26 at the Hilton Hotel in Parsippany, New Jersey.
In other news, Mike has announced that he played on the track "I've Seen The Light" from the new Michael Vescera (YNGWIE MALMSTEEN, LOUDNESS, OBSESSION) solo album "A Sign Of Things To Come". He also contributed a guest solo to the song "Crashbreaker" from Chilean band DELTA. Mike says, "DELTA is a great metal band with a touch of prog. I liked their music as it also reminded me of one of my favorite albums from NOCTURNAL RITES called 'Afterlife'. Very cool band."

METAL MIKE To Attend New York International Independent Video and Film Festival
The time has finally come for the massive HALFORD 'Resurrection World Tour - Live At Rock In Rio III' DVD package to be unleashed. I still remember the smoke, the energy and the passion of over 250,000 metal maniacs that greeted us in Brazil that one special night. Yep, it's the stuff any kid's heavy metal dreams are made of.
With that said, there are going to be some exciting activities happening in New York City where the HALFORD 'Rock In Rio' DVD will premiere during the New York International Independent Video and Film Festival (NYIIVFF).

Due May 26, "Into The Pit" is a four-disc collection from FIGHT which includes FIGHT's original recordings re-engineered for release: "War Of Words - Remixed and Remastered"; "Mutations - Remastered"; "A Small Deadly Space - Remixed and Remastered"; as well as a new DVD release "Live In Phoenix" featuring rare and unreleased FIGHT footage.

Just letting you know that due to the amazing response to TALKING METAL's pilot, FUSE has invited the show to firmly plant its metal feet for a steady stream of new episodes. I believe that this is great news for metalheads and heavy metal in general. I'm there ripping away in every episode throwing my 2, well make that 5 cents whenever it feels appropriate.
